  • Question: When I install ChmMagic, an error occurred before installation complete, the screenshot is like this:

    what happened?
    Answer: That's because some mismatch of language setting in your Operating System. This problem may occur in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, where the regional setting may set to different from language setting. Many other software errors will also occurred in this situation, it's not a particular error for ChmMagic. So you should go to control panel to correct the regional settings.

  • Question: How to export CHM file into a web site?
    Answer: CHM file is consisted of HTML files, pictures and index files. ChmMagic can decompile the CHM file into its original files. You will need to create an index file for the CHM html files in most cases, because the content file of CHM (with extension .hhc) can not be read in standard HTML browser, but you can make a copy of the .hhc file and edit it to make it visible.

  • Question: I want to set a paper size that's not included in the paper size list box.
    Answer: No problem, you just need to set the paper width and height, with proper size unit (inch or cm), if the size you inputted doesn't match paper sizes already exists, a "custom" string will be appeared in list box automatically, if the size equals to a paper size already exists in the paper size list box, the paper size name will be automatically selected.

  • Question: How to store my last time converted a CHM file to PDF 's settings?
    Answer: To save the settings for future use, you should make the settings in Options dialog, you can open the dialog in the menu Convert->Options or press "F12" key.

  • Question: Why in the PDF file each page has a red string with ChmMagic register announcement?
    Answer: That's because your ChmMagic has not registered. Please register to avoid it.

  • Question: How to register ChmMagic?
    Answer: If you've paid for the license, in ChmMagic, open "Register Online!" from Help menu, after inputting username and email address, then click button "Get Register Key", your username and email address will be sent to the server www.bisenter.com, then a register key will be sent to your mailbox. If you can not receive the register key, maybe something wrong in internet connection or your email address, to work around it, you will ensure your internet connection or register again by using other email address.
    If your computer can not access internet, press "Export Register Information" to create a text file and send it to sales@bisenter.com from other computer. A register key will reply to your mailbox.
